The Earth & Sun Collection
Today, more than ever, there is a need to foster genuine awe, wonder and gratitude for nature. Working with natural color is a unique and powerful opportunity to make this connection.
This year’s collection was created to highlight the richness of the earth and the ethereal glow of the sun in 25 plant dyed colors. I hope you love using them as much as I loved making them.
Natural dyeing is not about using nature, it is about spending time with nature, noticing and collaborating with what lives around us. This activity requires thoughtfulness, humility and gratitude, all of which permeate the color.
All of our materials are naturally dyed in our studio

This easy to use kit was created to guide you through creating your first (or 50th) natural indigo vat, and to make it easier and safer to involve children in the magical process of indigo dyeing. Observing the transformation of natural materials as they are gently pulled from a healthy vat is such an amazing, inspiring, connecting experience. This is a process that has been going on around the world for centuries, and it belongs to you, too.
Kit includes enough to dye around 6 pounds of fiber to various shades.
